Job summary

dfa in Frederick, MD is seeking a warehouse aide to support cooler/warehouse operations. The role provides relief during planned and unplanned absences to keep receiving, storing and distribution of products efficient and accurate.

Responsibilities include assisting with loading/unloading, tracking stock movement, rotating stock FIFO, and performing tasks as vacancies arise in the department. A HS diploma and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Class A or B driver's license as needed.
• Production or general warehouse experience preferred.

• Rotate stock per codes to ensure FIFO.

Perform job duties within the cooler/warehouse environment to provide relief for planned (vacation, breaks) and unexpected absences, to ensure the receiving, storing and distribution of product efficiently and accurately.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers
• Monitor product, materials, and equipment to ensure items are readily available
• Rotate stock according to code dates to ensure first-in, first-out rotation
• Complete any task assigned due to vacancy within the department
• Record movement of stock in and out of work area

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experienced preferred
• Certification and/or License – forklift certification and Class A or Class B driver's license, as required
