Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services in Framingham, MA, is seeking Relief Youth Advocates for its Juvenile Justice program, which provides residential services for youth aged 13 to 21 who are court-involved.

You’ll apply trauma-informed care to create a safe, supportive environment, promote inclusion, mentor youth, and support safe, healthy decision-making. The position offers hourly pay of $20 with benefit eligible status; note that relief roles may have limited benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with population.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Eliot is currently looking for Relief Youth Advocates in Eliot's Juvenile Justice (JJ) program offers residential services for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court-involved and require placement. These highly structured programs provide comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders.

Responsibilities

• Use principles and practices of Positive Youth Development and trauma informed care to create a safe and therapeutic environment

• Foster the youth’s skills and interests and mentor their positive development.
