Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA seeks a Relief Fryer/Peeler Operator to join our manufacturing team on the Week Night Shift. The role involves removing waste from the conveyor, trimming oversized potatoes, and preparing the peeler and fryer for production, Monday to Thursday 5:25 PM to 5:55 AM.

• Operates potato chip fryer in relief of regular operator, including preparation for start-up and shut down.
• Carries out all necessary daily and weekly sanitation procedures for either peeler or frying area
• Changes and sets blades.
• Performs all necessary duties to prepare peeler/slicer or frying system for production start-up.
• Operates peeler/slicer system to maintain sufficient supply of properly peeled and sliced raw potatoes for fryer operation.

Job description

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Relief Fryer/Peeler Operator to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on our new Week Night Shift.

As a Relief Fryer/Peeler Operator this candidate will be responsible for removing waste from the conveyor belt that holds peeled potatoes and will also cut oversized potatoes and spots from all potatoes. This position works Monday to Thursday 5:25PM-5:55AM.
