Job summary

Collinsville Community Unit School District is seeking a part-time Relief Aide at Collinsville High School to support students during school hours. Duties include supervising recess, assisting in the library, and supporting PTA activities. The position pays 17.25 USD per hour and has no benefits; hours are 2.5 per day during school days with no paid vacation.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Apply through the Collinsville CUSD system; duties cover multiple areas including cafeteria

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during recess periods in the morning, noon, and afternoon.
• May supervise students in the library; may check out books and keep the area organized.
• May run off materials and copy work for PTA functions and activities.
• May cut out materials/lettering and display in hallways and bulletin boards.
• Answer the phone when secretaries are briefly unavailable.
• Assist with student supervision in cafeterias, bathrooms, and hallways.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Supervise students during recess periods in the morning, noon, and afternoon.
• May supervise students in the library. May check out books to students and generally straighten up the library so that it is organized. This does not include record keeping and ordering books.
• May run off materials and do copy work for PTA functions and activities.
• May cut out materials/lettering and put up work in the hallways and on bulletin boards but not in the classrooms.
• May answer the phone when secretaries are called away from their office responsibilities for a short period of time because of some unexpected emergency.
• May help with students' supervision in the cafeterias, bathroom and hallways of the building.
• Other duties as assigned.
