Job summary

Surge Staffing is hiring a dependable Laborer to support daily warehouse and material handling operations. This hands-on role includes loading/unloading freight, moving products, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required; forklift experience is a plus and ability to operate a powered pallet jack is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Move products to storage areas using material handling equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated locations.
• Sort, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Inspect products for damage and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
