Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a delivery driver responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages with courteous, efficient service. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with preference for six months courier experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with assistance or equipment.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and delivers/picks up packages courteously and efficiently.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Performs related customer service functions and other duties as assigned.
