Job summary

UniLabs is seeking a Medical Courier responsible for safe, timely pickup and delivery of patient specimens, laboratory materials, supplies, documents, and other items between UniLabs facilities, client locations, nursing facilities, and testing facilities.

This role suits dependable, safety-conscious individuals who can work independently and follow established procedures and schedules. Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years courier/delivery experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must communicate in English and read maps.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and transport coolers containing patient specimens between UniLabs facilities and testing locations.
• Pick up and transport patient specimens from client locations such as nursing facilities and healthcare facilities.
• Follow established routes, schedules, pickup requirements, and delivery procedures.
• Ensure specimens, supplies, materials, and documents are delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
• Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with clients, patients, facility staff, and UniLabs team members.
• Safely operate company vehicles and comply with traffic and safety laws.
• Complete required daily vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean and professional condition.
