Sanford Contractors, Inc. is seeking a dependable Fuel Truck Driver (Class B CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements) to fuel and service equipment at our construction sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• OSHA, MSHA, forklift, First Aid/CPR training as applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and adjust to changing job-site priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, punctuality and safety focus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven ground.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders and use hand tools.
• Willingness to perform physical labor and extended hours as project demands require.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a fuel truck to deliver fuel, lubricants, and other necessary fluids to company equipment at various job sites.
• Ensure equipment is properly fueled, lubricated, and maintained to support daily production.
• Inspect equipment and address maintenance needs to prevent breakdowns.
• Keep trucks, trailers, tools, and work areas clean and in good condition.
• Follow OSHA, MSHA and company safety policies and job-site procedures.
• Identify and report safety hazards needing attention.
• Ensure proper rigging, blocking, and equipment handling within rated capacity.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and maintain accurate time records.
• Coordinate with site superintendents to confirm fueling needs before leaving a job site.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members and support daily production goals.
• Keep work areas free of trash and debris.
• Provide advance notice of requested time off per company procedures.
