Job summary

Sid Wainer & Son is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver in Dallas, TX to join our delivery team. You must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to lift 25 pounds. DOT physical required. Prior experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.

You will follow scheduled routes, read maps or GPS for routing, and ensure deliveries are accurate and on time while maintaining professional customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• DOT physical required.
• Able to lift 25 pounds and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Experience driving and parking large vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route.
• Deliver goods to specific locations determined by clients.
• Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into your vehicle and unload products as needed.
• Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival to recipient client.
• Collect signature and/or payments at delivery locales.
• Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver to the proper personnel.
• Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while enroute, to supervisors.
