Job summary

FedEx is seeking a delivery associate to operate company vehicles, ensuring courteous, efficient delivery and pickup of packages within the station’s service area.

You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, provide related customer service, and cover assigned routes. The role requires a valid license, physical ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to FMCSA safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.
• Must meet FMCSA safety regulations and be able to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
• Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Provides related customer service functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
