Job summary

Ausland Group is seeking construction laborers to support carpenters and iron workers on Southern Oregon projects. The role involves diverse manual tasks, site preparation, material handling, and adherence to safety standards.

You will assist skilled trades, perform basic cutting and finishing tasks, and operate common construction tools while maintaining a clean and safe worksite. Strong reliability and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

Basic hand tools provided or required for tasks.
Must adhere to safety standards and procedures.
Provide reliable transportation to varied work sites.

Responsibilities

Clear and prepare construction sites.
Selective demolition with hand tools and equipment.
Assist craft workers as directed.
Dig pits, trenches, and foundations; backfill and level earth.
Move and organize tools, equipment, and supplies to sites.
Operate tools such as hammers, tampers, mixers, rotary-hammers, vibrators, shovels.
Assemble scaffold and ladders for access.
Position structural components and formwork.
Mix concrete and manage finishing tasks.
Signal equipment operators for alignment and movement.
Clean sites during and after construction.
Work in varying weather and loud environments.
Follow safety protocols and site rules.
