Job summary

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Class C Special Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a truck and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule in Waldorf, Maryland. Our drivers build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations with a positive, friendly attitude.

While this position does not require a Class A or B license, individuals with a Class A or B may be required

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public
• Hold a Class C/Standard Operator Driver License

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a truck to deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route
• Manually unload/deliver products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies)
• Build relationships with customers and understand their operations and needs
• Meet route schedules and DOT requirements when applicable
