Job summary

Actalent in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Reliability Technician to join a lab/product testing team on a contract basis. You will design, execute, and optimize hardware reliability tests, collaborating with design engineers to ensure robust performance.

You will set up experiments, collect data with accelerometers and sensors, document findings, and generate detailed reports. Proficiency in PowerShell and test equipment is expected, with a practical understanding of electronics.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware reliability/Environmental testing and related methods (HALT, temp/humidity, shock, vibration).
• Ability to design experiments and collect test data using sensors (accelerometers, thermocouples, strain gauges).
• Proficiency in creating detailed test reports and communicating findings to engineers.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, set up, and manage multiple tests in a fast-paced environment.
• Document findings and communicate results to engineers via reports.
