Job summary

Mars Petcare in Aurora, NE is seeking an Area Maintenance Technician (Day Shift) to lead reliability and maintenance programs at our manufacturing plant. You will drive PM optimization, root-cause analyses, and project support to ensure safe, efficient production and high equipment availability.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance with strong mechanical/electrical skills, GMP awareness, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance or reliability experience.
• Experience with TPM or continuous improvement is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform root-cause failure analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize Preventive Maintenance programs and PM frequencies.
• Support projects and commissioning/validation teams for new lines.
• Coordinate advanced maintenance with external resources.
