Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Reliability Lab Technician to perform baseline and post-test measurements and safely operate standard reliability test equipment.

You will support Reliability Engineers, follow test procedures, document data, and communicate any abnormal findings promptly. This role requires a technical degree (Electrical preferred) or related experience, plus lab experience and data analysis skills. May require long hours and weekend work. 0-5% travel possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (Electrical preferred).
• High School Diploma with 3+ years in manufacturing or lab environment.
• Calibration/testing/measurement experience is an added advantage.
• Must be able to analyze data to determine if results fit within a control plan.
• Must be able to follow test procedures and write clear records.

Responsibilities

• Baseline and post-test measurement for standard Reliability tests.
• Safely load and operate standard Reliability Stress Test equipment.
• Process warranty returns.
• Data entry for Reliability testing and timely reporting.
• Notify supervisor of any abnormal findings immediately.
• Willing to work long hours and weekends to support testing.
