Index Search seeks a Reliability Engineer to support equipment reliability, maintenance, and process improvement in a large-scale steel plant in Cayce, South Carolina. This on-site role requires about 50% time in the mill and 50% in the field, reporting to the Central Maintenance Manager and involving minimal travel.

The candidate will apply RCFA and FMEA, lead projects from design through installation and startup, and collaborate across engineering and operations to improve safety, efficiency,

Qualificações

• 3–10 years of reliability engineering experience in heavy industry or steel manufacturing.
• Experience with RCFA and FMEA methodologies.
• SAP proficiency and ability to read mechanical/electrical prints.

Responsabilidades

• Support plant equipment reliability, maintenance, and process efficiency.
• Lead RCFA and FMEA studies to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Manage projects from design through installation and startup.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and diagrams.
• Collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Maintain plant reliability metrics and asset life-cycle records.
