Job summary

US Modules is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability, spare parts management, and maintenance planning at our solar module manufacturing facility in College Station, Texas. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, data-driven decision making, and collaboration across Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in reliability or related engineering roles, experience with CMMS, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Reliability Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of reliability/maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and industrial equipment.
Experience with spare parts, MRO inventory, or maintenance materials.
Experience using a CMMS or maintenance management system.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Analyze failures, downtime, MTBF, MTTR to identify improvements.
Create equipment criticality assessments and reliability strategies.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring failures.
Develop and maintain critical spare parts lists and reorder points.
Partner with Maintenance, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure critical parts availability.
Maintain CMMS data: equipment, BOM, spare parts, PM information.
Create and improve PM work orders, procedures, checklists, and job plans.
Analyze maintenance history and spare-parts usage to reduce failures.
Support equipment commissioning and new maintenance requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve uptime, OEE, and costs.
Collaborate with OEMs/vendors on reliability and parts.
Promote a proactive, data-driven maintenance culture.
