Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve uptime and reliability of manufacturing, facilities, and site utilities. You will lead PM/PdM/CBM, analyze failure data, and drive data‑driven decisions using CMMS and BI tools, while collaborating across functions to optimize asset performance.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in maintenance/reliability, and CMMS/RCA/RCM/FMEA experience.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of Maintenance/Reliability experience in manufacturing.
CMRP preferred.
Experience with CMMS, RCA, RCM and FMEA; able to analyze and present data.
Knowledge of rotating equipment, CNC, robotics, and process/utility equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve PM, PdM, and CBM programs for equipment, facilities, and utilities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to set asset criticality and prioritize reliability initiatives.
Implement condition monitoring (thermography, oil analysis, vibration, ultrasound) to support CBM.
Analyze failure data and trends using RCA and FMEA to identify improvements and reduce costs.
Lead cross-functional teams to eliminate bad actors and optimize PM/PdM/CBM strategies.
Provide technical support for installation, modification, and relocation of equipment; maintain documentation.
