Boar’s Head Brand is seeking an Equipment SME to oversee preventive maintenance and reliability across plants. You will ensure equipment availability, lead root-cause analysis, and support training for maintenance staff to improve uptime and quality.

The role requires deep meat-processing equipment expertise, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%. A mechanical/equipment engineering background and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance management within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
• Deep understanding of meat processing equipment and related technologies.
• Proven track record in preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and root cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage preventive maintenance programs for processing equipment to optimize uptime and performance.
• Ensure equipment availability meets OEE metrics, aiming for KPI improvements.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for local plant maintenance personnel on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Equip maintenance teams with tools and knowledge for efficient equipment management and troubleshooting.
• Identify and source spare parts to minimize downtime and enable prompt repairs.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts for local and national availability.
• Perform downtime analysis and root-cause analysis for downtime over 30 minutes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure equipment achieves first pass quality >99.5% and drive improvements.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
