Job summary

Engineers and Constructors International Inc. in Louisiana is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Specialist for an 18- to 24-month onsite contract in the New Orleans area. You will focus on improving asset reliability and maintainability through data analysis and proactive maintenance.

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to reduce downtime, support startup, and drive continuous improvement. Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor asset performance and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Develop, review, and optimize preventive maintenance programs and predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, lubrication, and condition monitoring.
• Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigations and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations; review maintenance work orders for trends and recurring issues.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment commissioning, and spare parts optimization.
