Job summary

CMC invites engineers to join our teams overseeing steel production facilities. You will engage in asset reliability, predictive maintenance, and maintenance planning across melt shop and rolling mill equipment.

You will analyze data, develop maintenance strategies, and work with field crews to keep operations safe and efficient. This role requires reading mechanical prints, familiarity with AutoCAD, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams.
• Professional Engineer license considered a plus.
• CMRP certification preferred.
• Experience in maintenance and reliability in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze asset lifecycle management and reliability engineering.
• Assess equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Analyze equipment failure data to identify patterns.
• Develop predictive maintenance and non-destructive testing strategies.
• Create and refine asset maintenance plans with preventive tasks.
• Implement reliability-centered maintenance for Melt Shop and Rolling Mill equipment.
• Utilize predictive testing to identify reliability problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Inspect and troubleshoot rotating equipment to maintain operations.
