Job summary

i-Pharm Consulting seeks a Reliability Engineer to drive reliability improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will lead RCA/RCM initiatives, develop maintenance programs, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and engineering.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical or chemical engineering and 3+ years of experience, with CMMS proficiency and knowledge of MTBF/MTTR metrics. A background in pharma or chemical plants is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of reliability tools and methodologies, including RCA, RCM, FMEA, and condition-based maintenance practices.
• Experience using CMMS software for maintenance planning and asset management.
• Background in chemical, pharmaceutical, process, or other regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and asset performance.
• Investigate equipment failures using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain reliability programs to improve equipment availability and operational performance.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, vendors, and contractors to resolve recurring equipment issues and improve reliability.
• Monitor and analyze reliability KPIs, including MTBF, MTTR, and asset utilization.
• Lead or support reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, and other asset management practices.
• Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment effectiveness.
• Provide reliability input for equipment selection, installation, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for critical manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset histories, and reliability documentation.
• Improve spare parts management through inventory optimization and reliability-focused planning.
• Promote maintenance best practices and provide technical guidance and training to site personnel.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, and effective use of CMMS platforms.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirement's
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support operational and reliability objectives.
