Job summary

JLL in New York is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our team. You will support operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets as part of the Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management COE.

As a technical subject matter expert, you will develop analysis methods, acquire and analyze data from connected systems, and drive a lifecycle asset management approach to improve reliability and meet performance measures.

Qualifications

• Reliability engineering knowledge for building systems is expected.
• Experience with RCFA (root cause failure analysis) is a plus.
• Data analysis and data-driven maintenance planning skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets.
• Develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment, and processes.
• Oversees RCFA of equipment failures to determine corrective actions.
• Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans to meet reliability goals.

This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets. In coordination and full collaboration with the Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management COE, the Reliability Engineer is responsible for implementing a strategic asset management plan to integrate clients existing systems including building automation, energy management, maintenance programs and life-cycle asset management approach. Develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL’s enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program. Acquires and analyzes data from connected systems and continually improves maintenance program strategy to meet outcomes-based performance measures. Conducts ongoing maintenance maturity assessments to assure progress to plan. Oversees root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of equipment failures to determine the required corrective action for the situation. Consideration will be given to the cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment. Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures.
