Job summary

DeLong Staffing Specialists is seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our electronics testing lab in Ohio. You will run structured electrical tests, set up fixtures, and measure with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies to ensure products meet specs.

You’ll interpret results, document findings precisely, and collaborate with engineers to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions. A safety-first approach and hands-on experience with 480V equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Experience as a test technician or in electronics/electrical systems.
• Strong command of circuit fundamentals and component behavior.
• Comfort with bench instrumentation and electrical test tooling.
• Analytical mindset, meticulous documentation, and problem-solving agility.
• Team-oriented yet self-directed work style.
• Clear, concise communication.
• Hands-on background working safely with 480V equipment.

Responsibilities

• Run structured electrical tests to verify performance, durability, and conformance to requirements.
• Prepare fixtures and configure oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies for accurate measurement.
