Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead asset strategy development and failure analysis across multiple sites, including travel to TN, AL, and TX. The role emphasizes risk-based maintenance, root cause investigations, and collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical engineering degree, professional engineering registration preferred, and 5+ years in reliability with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in Reliability.
• Drive adoption of Maintenance & Reliability Best Practices.
• Design or modify asset care strategies using risk-based methods (RCM, FMEA).
• Collaborate with technical resources to solve chronic equipment problems.
• Lead equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis and 5-Why.
• Provide technical guidance to production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Guide maintenance personnel in precision repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment.
• Analyze costs and benefits to meet reliability objectives.
• Create or modify site procedures to align with industry best practices.
