Caterpillar Inc. in Lafayette, IN seeks a Releasing Staff Engineer to coordinate engineering releasing activities between engineering design areas and procurement/scheduling with effective implementation.

This role emphasizes accurate data entry and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment. The position requires deep knowledge of MRP, CAD, and lean methods, with a focus on cost, scheduling, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

About LEC (Lafayette Engine Center)

The Lafayette Engine Center (LEC) manufactures the Cat 3500, Cat 3600 and C175 engines helping Caterpillar become the world’s leading manufacturer of off-highway diesel and natural gas engines.

The units built at LEC power mining trucks carrying ore to be processed, tugboats guiding ships to harbor, drill rigs tapping oil and gas reserves and generators bringing electricity to communities, hospitals and data centers.

Summary Pay Range:

$81,370.00 - $122,060.00
