Job summary

PhasorGrid in Flowood, MS seeks a Protection & Control Engineer with 3–6 years of relay settings experience to support utility substations and power systems. You will develop and review protective relay settings, perform coordination studies, and ensure conformance with IEEE/NERC standards, working with SEL, GE, ABB, and Siemens gear.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in relay settings / Protection & Control engineering.
• Strong understanding of protective relaying and power systems.
• Experience with SEL relays and relay settings software is highly preferred.
• Experience with transmission or distribution substations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and protection drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
