Job summary

Syon Capital, a San Francisco-based SEC-registered investment adviser, is seeking a full-time Relationship Manager, Client Service. This role deepens and expands client relationships, serving as the primary contact to coordinate and fulfill client requests and identify investment opportunities within portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in an RIA/family office at senior levels, FINRA Series 65, and strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years experience at Senior Manager level in an RIA/family office
  • 7–12 years experience at Manager level
  • FINRA Series 65 is required; unlicensed applicants must obtain within 90 days
  • CPWA designation preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hybrid/remote setting—In office Mon–Thu, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday WFH

Responsibilities

  • Oversee portfolio strategy by managing asset allocation, maturities, reinvestments, and held-away assets
  • Manage client cash activity: cash raises, bill payments, liquidity planning, and funding
  • Oversee client credit solutions: mortgages, construction loans, lines of credit; monitor PAL; run credit stress tests
  • Provide views on investment oversight across markets and opportunities; execute trades and vet external opportunities
  • Coordinate estate and tax planning with estate attorney and CPAs; run financial planning analyses and coordinate PFS
  • Lead client relationship management: quarterly reviews, cross-team coordination, gather financial documentation and approvals
  • Identify opportunities within the existing client base to drive business growth and smart cash deployments

Who we're looking for

Syon Capital is seeking a full-time Relationship Manager, Client Service. This role is responsible for deepening and expanding the client relationship. As the primary point of contact, the relationship manager coordinates and ensures execution of all client requests and identifies investment opportunities within their portfolio.

What you'll do
  • Oversee portfolio strategy by managing asset allocation and deployment, monitoringT-bill maturities, and reinvestments, and assessing held-away assets toidentifyallocation gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Manage client cash activity by executing cash raises,coordinatebill paymentservicesand liquidity planning, and overseeshort-term cash positioning and funding needs
  • Oversee client credit solutions by sourcing and coordinating mortgages, construction loans, and lines of credit; monitorpledge asset lines (PAL),andrun credit stress tests
  • Provideviews on investment oversight no markets, sectors, and investment opportunities; execute trades, managealternative and private investment positions, and vet and evaluate external investment opportunities for client portfolios
  • Coordinate comprehensive estate and tax planning by partnering withestateattorneyand CPAS on tax strategy and reporting,run financial planning analysis,and coordinate personal financialstatement (PFS) completion
  • Lead client relationship management byconducting quarterly reviews, coordinating client activities across internal teams, and securing financial documentation and approvals, perform annual risk assessments and strength long-term client engagement and retention
  • Drive business growth byidentifyingopportunities within the existing client base, advising on strategic cash deployments, managing equity concentrations strategies, and implementing index-based premium overlay solutions
What you have
  • Proven progressive experience in an RIA family office or fiduciary setting, 10 to 15 years of experience at the Senior Manager level and 7 to 12 years at the Manager level
  • FINRA Series 65 is required; unlicensed applicants will need to obtain their license within 90 days of hire
  • Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation (CPWA) is preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in understanding and helping the client achieve their ultimate financial goals
  • Ability to demonstrate strong judgement, consistency, and accountability and serve as a resource for junior team members
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A mindset that values every task, big or small
  • Hybrid/remote setting—In office Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday WFH
Compensation

We provide a competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus to commensurate with your experience, skills, and qualifications.

A reasonable estimate for the current salary range is based on skills and experience.

  • Manager: $125,000 to $150,000
  • Senior Manager: $150,000 to $175,000
