River Bank & Trust is seeking a Relationship Manager to develop, grow, and manage a profitable portfolio of commercial and consumer loan and deposit relationships. You will serve as a trusted financial partner, deliver responsive service, and represent the bank as a leader in the community.
You will balance growth with sound credit judgment, compliance, and the bank’s hospitality to customers while coordinating with internal teams to maximize relationship value and profitability.

The Relationship Manager is a relationship-driven banker responsible for developing, growing, and managing a profitable portfolio of commercial and consumer loan and deposit relationships. This role serves as a trusted financial partner to customers, actively develops new business, delivers responsive and knowledgeable service, and represents River Bank & Trust as a visible leader in the community. The Relationship Manager balances growth with sound credit judgment, portfolio quality, regulatory compliance, and the Bank’s commitment to hospitality.

Deliver a high level of hospitality and responsiveness while maintaining appropriate risk and control standards
Performance targets are established annually. Targets may include, but are not limited to:
Loan Growth Target – Achieve annual loan production and net portfolio growth targets while maintaining appropriate pricing, structure, underwriting standards, and credit quality.
Deposit Growth Target - Generate and retain core low cost deposits, with emphasis on full relationship banking.
Portfolio Quality Target - Maintain acceptable levels of past dues, classified or criticized assets, policy exceptions, and documentation quality within the assigned portfolio.
Business Development Target - Maintain consistent calling, prospecting, networking, and center-of-influence activity sufficient to support established production goals and a healthy pipeline.
Referrals Target - Identify customer needs and generate qualified referrals to other lines of business to include but not limited to: Treasury Management, Mortgage, Investments, SBA, and other Bank lines of business, as applicable.
Community Involvement Target - Maintain meaningful involvement in civic, charitable, business, or professional organizations that support the Bank’s visibility and relationship-development efforts in the market and specifically CRA opportunities.
Specific goals and weighting may vary each year and will be communicated through the Bank’s annual goal-setting and performance management process.
The physical demands and work environment are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. The employee regularly sits, communicates, and uses hands for computer and office work and may occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The role may require travel within the Bank’s market for customer meetings, business development, and community activities. The work environment is generally consistent with a professional banking or office setting.
