Job summary

Frost in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Relationship Development Officer – Trust and Wealth to cultivate fiduciary business through Centers of Influence and serve as the primary contact for referral partners. You will represent Frost in the community, building relationships with integrity, care, and excellence.

You will collaborate with Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors to identify growth opportunities, lead RFPs when needed, and educate clients on trust and wealth management solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/finance.
  • Proven success building professional referral networks.
  • Solid knowledge of fiduciary services and wealth management concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and across teams.
  • Strong presentation and networking capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deepen relationships with Centers of Influence to generate fiduciary business.
  • Serve as main contact for referral partners and prospective fiduciary clients.
  • Participate in community events to boost visibility and referrals.
  • Lead RFP processes with internal stakeholders to support opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors to identify growth.
  • Facilitate introductions between prospective clients and Wealth Advisors.
  • Support fiduciary business development including time-sensitive referrals.
  • Educate sources and prospects on trust, estate, and wealth management solutions.
  • Maintain professionalism and knowledge of fiduciary services.
  • Document and track referral activity and relationships.
  • Advocate for Trust & Wealth services across the organization.
  • Act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with Centers of Influence (attorneys, CPAs, financial professionals, and other referral sources) to generate fiduciary business opportunities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for referral partners and prospective fiduciary clients
  • Participate in community, professional, and industry events to increase market visibility and strengthen referral networks
  • Lead the RFP process as needed, partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality proposals and support business development opportunities
  • Collaborate with Trust Officers, Wealth Advisors, and other team members to identify and pursue growth opportunities
  • Facilitate introductions and referrals between prospective clients and Wealth Advisors when appropriate
  • Remain available to support fiduciary business development opportunities, including responding to time-sensitive referral situations as needed
  • Educate referral sources and prospects regarding trust, estate, fiduciary, and wealth management solutions
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and knowledge regarding fiduciary services, trust administration, and wealth management offerings
  • Document and track referral activity and relationship development efforts
  • Act as a strategic resource and advocate for Trust & Wealth services throughout the organization and community
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success developing professional referral networks and Centers of Influence
  • Strong knowledge of fiduciary services, trust administration, estate planning, and wealth management concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple business units
  • Strong presentation and networking capabilities
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Experience in trust, fiduciary, private banking, wealth management, or estate planning environments
  • Professional certifications such as CTFA, CFP, CFA, JD, CPA, or similar credentials
  • Established network of professional referral sources within the market
