Job summary

Southern Oregon Wellness is seeking a compassionate MD/DO to join a direct primary care practice in Southern Oregon. The role emphasizes time with patients, preventive care, and relationship-based care with clinical autonomy.

Open to full-time or part-time physicians who hold or are eligible for an Oregon medical license and are board certified or eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Oregon medical license or eligible for licensure.
• Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication with patients.
• Values preventive medicine and patient education.
• Interested in long-term relationships and innovative primary care.
• Compassion, curiosity and desire to improve patients' health.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, and health-risk assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment and wellness plans.
• Build long-term relationships with patients and families.
• Provide patient education and lifestyle counseling.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Coordinate specialty care when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
