Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build strong relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them to address banking needs. You will educate clients on products, process transactions, and open accounts while partnering with the branch team.

The role requires NMLS registration, a background check, and the ability to originate and close consumer loans. You will help customers with digital products and self-service options to meet their financial goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
  • Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and services.
  • Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
