Job summary

Overview

The Relationship Banking Associate is responsible for delivering high‑quality customer service and responsiveness, ensuring fulfillment and satisfaction of both internal and external customers. The individual will process routine transactions and other related services accurately in accordance with policy and procedures, identify and refer sales opportunities to the appropriate business partner or line of business, and provide support for basic consumer deposit account opening.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Tasks performed as follows:

  • 65% Process routine transactions and associated general customer and account servicing duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including routine and non‑routine teller transactions in accordance with policy and procedures. Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing forms and reports, and daily vault balancing. Engage in referral and relationship management in accordance with established objectives and goals. Provide support for new deposit account opening as required. Adhere to security measures and controls to minimize potential losses to the company.
  • 25% Identify customer opportunities through interactive and consultative conversations to assess and address customer needs. Provide services including basic deposit account opening and refer customers to appropriate business partners. Conduct sales and service calls to existing and potential customers to ensure existing needs are met and to prospect new sales leads. Take ownership to resolve customer issues and complaints while delivering a high level of responsiveness. Ensure fulfillment and customer satisfaction through direct personal action and enlist additional support to handle the customer's need in a timely manner.
  • 5% Participate in community events that support efforts with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
  • 5% Perform other duties as assigned and required.
Physical Requirements
