U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build trusted client relationships, assess banking needs, and educate clients on deposit and loan products. You will help open accounts and may originate consumer loans, working from a U.S. Bank location.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, plus ongoing compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
• Passion, commitment and drive to deliver an experience that improves our clients' financial lives
• Effective and confident client communication
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
• Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions
• Cash handling experience
• Active listening and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to teach customers how to use digital technology
• Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them to provide the best possible counsel.
• Originating and closing consumer loans, opening accounts, and opening and/or closing the branch.
