Job summary

U.S. Bank in Minnesota seeks a Relationship Banker to serve customers in the Duluth area. You will meet clients face to face, assess banking needs, explain deposit and loan products, and open accounts while building trusted relationships.

You will originate and close consumer loans, guide customers on digital tools, and ensure accurate processing of customer and account information in a compliant, friendly branch environment.

Qualifications

  • NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Limited retail banking experience acceptable with training.

Job Description Relationship Bankers build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. They are also responsible for originating and closing consumer loans, opening accounts, and opening and/or closing the branch.

Required Qualifications:
  • - National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z and ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements, including, but not limited to maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record
  • - High school diploma or equivalent
  • - Less than four years job related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $20.25 - 24.75 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
