JPMorganChase is seeking a Relationship Banker at a Chase Branch to deliver warm, proactive service while managing client relationships and offering tailored banking solutions. You will guide clients in using Chase digital tools to simplify finances and collaborate with a team to address complex financial needs.

The role requires licensing (SIE, Series 6, state registrations, Life licenses) with 180 days to obtain, adherence to all regulatory requirements, and weekend/evening hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Licensing: SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), Life licenses; must obtain licenses within 180 days.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
• Compliance with risk, regulatory, and licensing requirements.

Job responsibilities

• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust - ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients - elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail - providing consistent client experience.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC's licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

• Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent on compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.

In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JPMorganChase, you will be required to either register on NMLS, or to update your existing registration as necessary to grant access to and reflect your employment with JPMorganChase. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorganChase is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date, and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates thereafter.
