Fulton Bank in Berlin, NJ is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver exceptional customer experiences by handling service and sales needs with enthusiasm.

You will open accounts, assist with lending, refer partner products, and process transactions, while expanding relationships through needs-based conversations and digital solutions. The role requires 2+ years in customer service or sales and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive sales conversations by outbound campaign calls, handling inbound inquiries, scheduling appointments, and engaging customers in the lobby to meet sales goals.
• Advance knowledge of sales techniques and use the CRM to foster relationship-building and streamlined onboarding of new and existing customers.
• Manage risk by maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and Fulton policies.
• Leverage digital solutions and technology to support customers and solve problems.
• May serve as a Notary Public for their financial center.

This is a full-time career opportunity (approximately 40 hours per week) based out of our Berlin, NJ financial center at 220 N. Route 73. Must be available to be scheduled around branch operation hours (no Sundays).

The Relationship Banker is responsible for providing an exceptional Financial Center customer experience by handling every customer need from service to sales with passion and enthusiasm. This role provides customers with a one stop experience to fulfill all their financial needs including account opening, lending, partner sales referrals, maintenance, and transaction processing. Incumbents will focus on customer-centric conversations to deepen relationships and become a trusted advisor. Actively promote a variety of banking solutions to enhance a customer's service experience and achieve their financial goals. Responsible for sales expectations that contribute to the growth and success of the financial center.

• Drive proactive sales conversations by engaging in outbound campaign calls, handling inbound contact center inquiries through participation in Fulton Banks Distributed Work model, scheduling appointments, and actively engaging customers in the lobby as well as during transaction processing. Use digital tools to proactively demonstrate digital solutions to customers, with the goal to identify sales opportunities and convert them into tangible outcomes to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Advance personal knowledge of sales techniques and utilize the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and other resources to foster relationship-building conversations with customers and to ensure a consistent approach to new customer onboarding and expanding existing relationships.
• Manage risk by maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and Fulton policies and procedures, while demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
• Leverage practical knowledge and understanding of digital solutions and technology to support customers and solve problems.

Additional Responsibilities

• May serve as a Notary Public for their financial center.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty not applicable at this level. (Required)

Experience

2 or more years customer service or sales experience. (Required)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.43 - $32.31.
