Job summary

Applied Underwriters, a global risk services firm headquartered in Omaha, NE, is seeking a senior property underwriter to evaluate, price, and underwrite commercial property risks, including individual accounts and program business.

The role also supports the reinsurance team on assumed and ceded treaties, collaborating with leading brokers and delivering recommendations to senior leadership. A strong background in catastrophe pricing and multi-year underwriting experience is required.

Qualifications

Applied Underwriters is expanding its property and reinsurance business and is seeking a senior property underwriter to evaluate, price, and underwrite commercial property risks, including individual accounts and program business. This role also supports the reinsurance team on assumed and ceded treaties, working with leading reinsurance brokers and making recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of property underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting both individual risks and program business.
• Experience pricing catastrophe-exposed property.
• Bachelor’s degree.
