Gallagher Re is seeking a motivated Reinsurance Broking Analyst to join a two-year full-time training program. You will collaborate with clients and teams to market and place reinsurance solutions, build compelling pitch materials, and analyze data with actuarial and risk teams.
You'll work toward earning a Property & Casualty license and the ARe designation, with travel to Rolling Meadows, IL for training (expenses covered) and a hybrid work schedule.
At Gallagher Re, you’ll help clients navigate complex risks from natural disasters to cyber threats by delivering sharp analytics, innovative risk transfer strategies, and operational expertise. Your insights will strengthen their financial resilience when it matters most.
Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. As a Reinsurance Broking Analyst, you’ll:
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to market, negotiate, and place reinsurance solutions
Build persuasive pitch documents and presentations
Analyze data alongside actuarial, catastrophe modeling, and financial advisory teams
Support contract finalization and service reinsurance placements
Participate in seminars, work toward your Property & Casualty license and earn your ARe designation
Successfully obtain your Property & Casualty license within 90 days of your start date
In the REACH Program, your development is our priority:

Support to earn your ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) designation within 18 months

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Willingness to travel to our home office in Rolling Meadows, IL, five times for training (all expenses covered)
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or work experience in a related field
Interest in or knowledge of reinsurance broking and risk management
