Job summary

Anovo is hiring a Reimbursement Specialist in Memphis, TN to gather, apply, and coordinate financial and insurance information to determine drug coverage for patients. This in-office role requires strong billing experience, excellent Office skills, and reliable attendance.

You will interact with payers and providers to resolve coverage questions, help patients assess options, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of accounts. Monday–Friday, on-site work hours apply.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • At least one year of reimbursement, healthcare billing or HUB experience.
  • Excellent computer and typing skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Initiative-taking, people friendly, organized, and meticulous.
  • Willing to work the assigned shift to cover HUB Program hours (Mon-Fri 7am-7pm); in-office or at-home rotation.
  • Diligence and commitment in communication with patients and providers.
  • Empathic listening skills to interact effectively with patients and providers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Strong customer service experience and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information on coverage and reimbursement issues to patients and healthcare providers; assess options.
  • Address claim rejections/denials, identifying reasons for rejections.
  • Identify and communicate financial options for those with financial need.
  • Coordinate with payers and assistance programs to facilitate reimbursement process.
  • Establish relationships and maintain rapport with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Follow program guidelines and assist management.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient accounts per HIPAA policies.
  • Complete required training and pass tests where applicable.
  • Conduct timely calls with patients and payers professionally.
  • Adhere to Code of Conduct and company policies including attendance.
  • Complete reports and special projects as requested by HUB services management or client.
  • Regular and reliable attendance expected.

The HUB Services Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for gathering, applying, coordinating, and communicating financial, assistance program, and insurance information to determine drug coverage availability, issues, and options. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1.Communicate and interact with government and commercial payers to identify (i) availability of drug coverage; (ii) patient eligibility for coverage; (iii) prior authorization requirements; (iv) coordination of benefits and primary and secondary coverages; and (v) plan limitations (i.e., maximum quantity per order, refill too-soon, timely filing), and accurately communicate the same to patients and healthcare providers.

9.Complete all required training in a timely manner and score a passing score on any training that requires a test score.
