Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or prior employment.
• Ability to gain knowledge of therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to use equipment and materials for therapy.
• Ability to participate in treatment plan development.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular work schedule, possibly rotating shifts.
• Prepare materials for assessments and assist with assessments.
• Accompany individuals to activities and appointments as needed.
• Prepare materials for therapeutic activities and manage supplies.
• Perform housekeeping in therapeutic areas as instructed.
• Assist with therapeutic specialty under supervision.
• Collect data for treatment plans and document observations.
• Provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team on progress.
• Develop feasible treatment goals with the team.
• Maintain current skills related to duties.
• Participate in disaster response/COOP or other duties as assigned.
