Position Summary

This position aligns with the responsibilities of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. If the job description below does not apply, please refer to the specific PT or OT job descriptions for applicable responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Integrate evaluation results, behavioral observations, and patient history to develop diagnostic impressions, set goals, and make recommendations based on findings.
• Collect and document patient care data according to departmental, regulatory, and payer guidelines, reflecting an understanding of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care. This includes examination, evaluation, documentation, reassessments, discharge planning, and communication with the healthcare team. For OT or PT, this also involves billing and productivity tracking.
• Develop treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and support systems. Reassess and modify plans as needed, refer patients for additional services, and complete discharge planning. Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
• Administer appropriate tests and measurements accurately and efficiently, including functional training, musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiac interventions as applicable. Conduct follow-ups and communicate findings.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Valid Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathology license.
