Responsibilities

• Performs treatment procedures predetermined by the therapist and is proficient with modalities and equipment as listed (hot packs, ice packs, iontophoresis, biofeedback, ultrasound, etc.).
• Provides feedback to the therapist regarding patient response to treatment and reports unusual occurrences.
• Prepares and cleans the treatment area and end-of-day duties.
• Transports patients to and from the Rehabilitation Services Department.
• Monitors supplies and notifies clerk when supplies need ordering; stores supplies.
• Completes infection control procedures and attends departmental meetings and trainings.
