Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, operated with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician (PRN) to join an interdisciplinary team in Arlington, TX, delivering exceptional patient care.

You will assist with therapy tasks, transport patients, and communicate clearly with the rehab team. A high school diploma and CPR certification are required or strongly recommended; 6–12 months rehab experience is preferred. This is a PRN role at a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of relevant rehab experience strongly recommended; on-the-job training after orientation.
• Current CPR certification (as required).
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow directions; patient transport and safe lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs); observation and basic documentation; reliability, teamwork and time management.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
