Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehab Technician in St. Petersburg, FL. This full-time role supports patient treatment, prepares therapy areas, and helps with clerical tasks across the Therapy Department.

Weekend shifts are required. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and CPR certification; 6–12 months rehab experience is strongly recommended, along with basic computer and telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other areas.
• Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and maintains inventory of therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
• Other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

ARehabilitation Technician who excels in this role:

• Ability to Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
• Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
