Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, organized, and service-minded Rehab Technician to join our rehabilitation team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE.

As a Rehab Technician, you will help keep the rehabilitation department running smoothly by supporting therapists, assisting guests and residents, managing equipment and supplies, and helping create a safe, organized, and positive therapy experience.
As a Rehab Technician, you will support the daily operations of the rehabilitation department while assisting therapists, guests, residents, and the broader care team.
You will:
Prepare equipment for new admissions, including wheelchairs, front-wheeled walkers, and other therapy equipment as requested.
Assist therapists during active therapy sessions, including wheelchair follow, balance support, and physical assistance as appropriate.
Prepare for patient treatments by gathering equipment and supplies such as cushions, weights, commodes, and therapy materials.
Support patient transportation by assisting with wheelchair transport within or outside of the rehab area as needed.
Maintain rehab equipment by cleaning, organizing, tracking, and reporting repair or replacement needs.
Follow infection-control practices by cleaning rehab equipment throughout the day and maintaining clean gym and storage areas.
Manage clinical, kitchen, and office supplies while maintaining par levels and supporting ordering needs.
Complete clerical support, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, mailing, and medical record handling as needed.
Support documentation processes through EHR, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google documents, and other systems.
Assist with timecard corrections, staffing communication, weekend and holiday schedule support, and other department needs.
Complete maintenance requests and prepare invoices for approval as needed.
Build positive, professional relationships with guests, residents, therapists, nurses, families, and team members.

Ideal candidates will have:
Experience working with older adults in a post‑acute, skilled nursing, senior living, healthcare, or similar setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
A helpful, team‑oriented attitude with strong follow‑through.
Comfort assisting therapists, guests, and residents in a safe and respectful manner.
Ability to manage equipment, supplies, documentation, and clerical tasks accurately.
Strong communication skills with therapists, nursing team members, leaders, guests, and residents.
Comfort using technology, EHR systems, spreadsheets, and department resources efficiently.
A calm, flexible, and professional approach in changing or stressful situations.
Active PTA license or active CNA license required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, post‑acute, or senior living experience preferred.
