Job summary

Position: Rehabilitation Technician at 805 Department of Rehabilitation Services in Weatherford, OK. Assists rehabilitation staff with direct client services, gathers medical information, and helps clients apply for services and plan authorizations.

Roles span levels I–III, including case management, referrals, record keeping, and coordinating medical and vendor procedures. Travel may be required; background checks and ASL proficiency may apply.

Qualifications

• Level I requires one year of office clerical work experience.
• Level II requires two years of technical clerical work or equivalent education.
• Level III requires two years of technical clerical work plus one year in rehab-related field or a related degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled technical assistance to rehabilitation staff in client services.
• Assist clients in completing applications for services.
• Gather and arrange medical diagnosis information and case-related correspondence.
• Arrange and authorize services within an approved rehabilitation plan.
• Process case data including applications, eligibility, IPEs, notes and authorizations.
• Maintain files and transfer case records through the management information system.
• Perform general office operations and reception duties as needed.
