Job summary

Mattapan Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Elderwood, seeks a Director of Rehabilitation Services to lead our therapy team and ensure high-quality rehab for residents and families. The role blends hands-on clinical leadership with department oversight in a busy 85-bed facility in Mattapan, MA.

You will supervise therapists, coordinate interdisciplinary care, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive staff development while balancing clinical duties and admin responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT/PT/SLP with a baccalaureate degree.
• Massachusetts state license to practice required; management experience preferred.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the rehabilitation department and staff.
• Oversee therapy services documentation and billing per regulations.
• Maintain a clinical caseload while providing leadership.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and team.
• Ensure timely completion of evaluations and care plans.
• Recruit and mentor therapy staff and lead dept. meetings.
