Job summary

Essentia Health's Rehabilitation Aide role at the Miller Hill Health Plaza outpatient therapy team offers hands-on clinical experience for students pursuing rehabilitation careers.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting in rooming patients, scheduling, coordinating with OT/PT/SLP staff, and maintaining a clean, organized therapy space. FTE 0.8 with a day shift 9:00am–5:30pm and possible remote/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Previous health care related experience or education.
• No certification/licensure requirements.

• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure stock areas are clean and organized.
• Greet patients and answer basic questions about treatments.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to help coordinate care of patients.
• Maintain equipment cleaning schedules.
• Provide an extra set of hands for OTs, PTs and SLPs during therapy sessions.
• Other duties as assigned

Previous health care related experience or education. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our outpatient therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
• Assist in rooming patients for therapy sessions
• Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment before and after use
• Perform various appointment scheduling tasks
• Manage patient communication and customer service needs via phone and in-person
• Perform routine, non-clinical patient care tasks under therapist supervision
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure stock areas are clean and organized
• Greet patients and answer basic questions about treatments
• Collaborate with clinical staff to help coordinate care of patients
• Maintain equipment cleaning schedules
• Provide an extra set of hands for Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs) and Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) during therapy sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Anticipated schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 9:00am - 5:30pm
