Job summary

The Palazzo Senior Living Community is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead the rehabilitation department, supervise therapists and assistants, and ensure high-quality patient care on site.

The role requires licensure in OT/PT/SLP, 3+ years of direct patient care with 1+ year in management, and strong communication while ensuring compliance with all regulations governing the department.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT/PT/SLP as required
• Minimum 3 years direct patient care with 1 year management preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to collaborate and solve problems independently
• Knowledge of department regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrates kind, positive management style and maturity
• Maintains professionalism under pressure and motivates staff

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage a therapy team
• Provide direct on-site patient care and liaison with families
• Monitor clinical services quality and regulatory compliance
• Oversee care planning, utilization, and patient identification duties
• Generate reports as needed and implement new programs
• Keep updated on all department regulations and continuing education requirements
